Effective Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and Strengthening of Primary Health Care for Adolescents

General objective: Contribute to reducing adolescent pregnancy and early unions by strengthening primary healthcare and promoting changes in social and gender norms.

Specific objectives:

1. Strengthen the primary healthcare response for adolescents, with an emphasis on long-acting methods (LARC).
2. Promote changes in social and cultural norms that influence early unions.

Persistence of adolescent pregnancy and early unions in contexts of multidimensional poverty (78% to 99%), violence, and structural barriers to accessing sexual and reproductive health services.

• Component 1 (Health): Operational assessment, technical and humanistic training for personnel, specialized LARC training, and continuous monitoring.
• Component 2 (Community): Leadership training, arts-based educational processes with adolescents, and family dialogue spaces to challenge the normalization of early pregnancy.

Adolescents (10 to 19 years), young women, families, community leaders and primary healthcare personnel.
