Quito, July 16, 2026. The Centro de Desarrollo y Autogestión (DYA) received two awards during "A Grain of Flour That Brings Us Together", an event organized by Corporación Superior that brought together partner organizations implementing social impact projects with the company's support.

The event convened partner organizations to present the main results of Corporación Superior's sustainability strategy and recognize the collaborative work carried out with a wide range of social actors. Throughout the event, achievements in food security, adolescent pregnancy prevention, child protection, and environmental sustainability were highlighted.

During the event, DYA was recognized for its work in the Amaneceres Program, an initiative implemented in partnership with Fundación REDNI and supported by Corporación Superior, La Fabril, Moderna Alimentos, and Industrias Ales. The program aims to prevent chronic child malnutrition and adolescent pregnancy in the Eloy Alfaro parish of Manta.

Corporación Superior highlighted the positive impact that Amaneceres has generated within the community and reaffirmed the program's strategic importance as part of its sustainability initiatives, recognizing DYA's contribution to implementing the adolescent pregnancy prevention component.

The two awards presented to DYA reflect the commitment of its team and demonstrate the value of collaboration among civil society organizations, the private sector, and public institutions to expand opportunities and promote the well-being of children, adolescents, and their families.

For DYA, these recognitions reaffirm the importance of building strong partnerships between civil society, the private sector, and public institutions to advance sustainable development processes that create lasting positive change for children, adolescents, and their communities.

Juan Samaniego, Executive Director of DYA, stated:

At DYA, we are very pleased to receive this award, which truly belongs to the young people who took part in the program. The dedication of our team made it possible to develop a proven methodology that is aligned with adolescents' realities and has the potential to be scaled up and integrated into the education system.
